Hi all, previously owned a Panigale then a 1260 PP followed by a SFV4s. Fell out with the brand after that and bought 1250 GSA. Now thinking of returning to Ducati. I really loved the 1260 PP I had but I just can’t justify the outlay vs the free time I have to use it. So a used V4s could be the best option. The issue I have is selling or trading in the GS. It’s gonna be sore. It’s a great big bike but just a bit too big and heavy for me. I never felt that way with the PP.
Over the years I have flip flopped between Ducati & BMW, I’m now on my second V4S Multistrada, one bonus is my wife (pillion) really likes it. I’ve taken some big hits on trade ins, but I’m fairly sure I’m settled now. Helped partially by the fact the latest GSA is visually a mess. I like to tour so the Rally is the one for me. Good luck finding the right deal.
Yes, back in 2021. I actually ordered a V4 PP but delivery was slow and I cancelled in September 2022. That’s when I bought the GSA.
Got to agree with you on the new 1300 GS. Had a loaner while my 1250 was having replacement front calipers. Just didn’t do it for me.
