Morning all from County Durham picked up my Monster 1200 R yesterday its my first Ducati for about 15yrs had loads back in the day but driffted on to different brands.So glad Ive returned the noise Ooo the noise the quality the ride back in love so much so that i covered 300mls yesterday.happy days Steve

I picked up my first Monster 1200R this weekend. Got 3 trains to reach the seller and then had 3 hours of glorious riding back home down south. What a bike!
Nope, I just missed out on buying a black one that was at CMC Bikes and was cross with myself for deliberating for too long. I then popped a message on the Monster UK Facebook Group and a guy said he was considering selling his 1200R. We exchanged numerous messages and pics, and did a deal. 3800 miles on a 66 plate with Termi and other mods, so pretty pleased .

Fantastic bikes ,love mine to bits and even after five years it just gets better As for value ,a mate of mine who after seeing mine has lusted after one ,has just picked up a 16 plate with 23 thou on the clock for £7,000 , it was up for £9 ,500 , he dropped it to £7,500 and then sold it for cash as i said for £7,000
