  1. Looking to now get a v4s and found a couple
1 owner , 2019 , 2500 miles , tracker , tailtidy, 3 dealer services and 1 independent, 12 months warranty not from dealer , new mot , new lithium battery and full ppf ..

3 owner so I'd be 4th , 2018 , 1300 miles , 3 dealer services and another dealer service upon sale , tracker , tailtidy , zard end cans plus original included, 3 months warranty from dealer , new mot
Both similar price but 2018 £200 more
Can't decide as like the idea of one owner plus I've spoken to him and its been pampered but the 18 has 2k exhaust and lower mileage but more owners
Both miles away so can't view but have videos etc

  2. Why second one may I ask

  3. I’d go bike 1

1 owner, ‘better’ mileage (I’d rather have a few more on it (1300 in 7 years on the ‘18??), 2019 is an improvement on 2018 (so I’m told/have read, not had either).

Is the exhaust enough of a reason to go for bike 2?

Is bike 1 a private sale? If so where is the warranty from?

  4. 1st is at a bike shop so not main dealer as such and an aftermarket warranty with them being independent.
I think the 19 plate was a year 18 just registered in 19 as both still on original tyres both dated 18 and I believe the updates were 20 onwards

  5. In that case maybe bike 2 (in view of the exhaust) could swing it….

3 owners in 6 ish years may seem a lot but these are premium bikes and it’s likely someone moved on to the latest model after a year or 2.

  6. Exhaust swings it.

  7. I bought my 2018 V4S last November.
3 previous owners, 7900 miles, run in oil change and then 4 dealer service stamps in the book. Full Akrapovic race system, Daemon mirrors, translogic quicker shift and a lot of carbon and it came from a Harley dealer. I was always going to buy an aftermarket exhaust so it made sense to find a bike with it already fitted. It was also significantly cheaper than Ducati dealer (and private) bikes that were relatively standard.
I’d be less concerned on the number of owners and have a well serviced bike with added extras.

  8. This one has zard silencers which apparently are very loud and they look a bit odd imo lol

  9. I’d go bike 1. when you come to resell you’re always going to have to deal with the question ‘ why so many owners’.

Does bike 2 have the Zard because who ever put them on couldn’t afford Termi or Akra? Has it it been mapped ?

Get bike 1 and do what you want to the exhaust system.

  10. Hasn't been mapped as just silencers and maybe they didn't want termi or akra not sure

  11. Fuck it, get both.

I’ll sell you my track slag. One owner from new (me :)) low miles. Only crashed once… :D
