Hi, I am looking for a screen for the Mrs 1200 monster, I have looked at the Puig but was informed it can only be fitted to a bike which has the original screen mounting brackets fitted. Her bike does not have them so I am unsure how to proceed. Has anyone on here added a screen to a standard 1200 monster that came without one fitted? Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers

Without seeming to state the obvious ,but can't you order some brackets and then your problem is solved ?
I have just done a very quick search ,and you can order a screen and bracket from TEMU for £48 ,so i am sure that brackets are available as well
I was aware of the other options but was trying to buy in Europe if I could. Interesting uk screen manufacturers only seem to make screens not the fitting kit to go with them. Last time I bought a puig screen it was for the Mrs cb1000r and that came with a fitting kit.
I see where you are coming from ,but after buying some brewing equipment earlier this year from China ,which only took five days to arrive and was excellent quality ,personally ,i would be more than happy to order from there again .
I agree with you re Chinese quality - it has moved a long way. Just look at their bike offering for the money the quality is very good indeed - it’s not surprising they are taking sizeable market share off European and Japanese manufacturers. Let’s face it the Chinese are building some of ktm’s engines and have negotiated the rights to make the same engine rebranded for their own bikes. That said I gather there have been some issues with wear on valve train components of ktm’s. The Chinese BYD cars look really good - compared to Tesla! I think China manufacturing has come on massively!
