Hello, i have a 03 999s with what I thought was factory exhaust system. After looking through the service manual, I see a different exhaust system in the diagrams. The system on my bike has a 2 into 1 Y pipe. The service manual shows each cylinder has its own exhaust pipe going to the muffler. Anyone have the same system as me. Any info will help. Im trying to fit a pair of mivv cans to replace the Termi silencer. I looks like i need to order a different set of headers. Thanks.
This is a 749 I owned a while back with MIVV cans. I think I have a spare, used 999 system lying around somewhere, without cans.
Do you have any different pics showing how the mivv cans are mounted and how the exhaust pipes enter the cans.
