  1. some beautiful bikes there

  2. Today a run by Multistrada to Thame, Oxfordshire for lunch with four friends and visit to the Thame town museum.
There is an exhibition I want to see about local man Ralph Seymour, Velocette dealer and TT racer, whom I knew back in the day.

  3. I've said it before and I'll say it again - nothing does happy better than a dog. Especially when there's a beach and sky and air and wind and sea and space to run round and round and round in.

We should all watch and learn.

  7. Plymouth City Council has hate for pedestrians that is unrestrained. The pedestrian area of Armada Way has been destroyed for months. I come back about seven months Later and it's even worse! Plymouth City Council are the new enemy trying to make the place worse than the Luftwaffa made it!

Would I buy property here? No, not in a million years!

The lingua franca is not anything like West Country. It is more grunting mixed with fucks. Nobody understands, not even fellow speakers . It matters not for the response when speaking "lad" is always the same. Look down, rub yourself and then grunt.

I have more but I find it too depressing to deal with

They celebrate Drake as their hero, neatly forgetting his defeat to the Spanish when he teied attacking them and his to slave trading. links

    It's a strange world .

But I am having Sunday roast, so everything is good!

  8. True good addition, but I draw the line at shitting on the pavement

  9. Yesterday we climbed the second highest mountain on the island of Uglijan to the ruins of a fortress. The fortress weren’t much but the views of the surrounding islands on the way up were amazing IMG_6140.jpeg IMG_6137.jpeg
Today’s adventure was by boat to the southern most tip with a stop off for snorkelling.
    Beer time now beckons.

  11. I didn't think that there were that many TZ750s still going.

  12. Felt like death warmed up all day. I have a tooth abscess. I don’t know if I’ve OD’d on paracetamol (I took 14 or 16 tablets yesterday and the safe max dose is 8) or it’s because I got hardly any sleep last night due to the pain, but I’ve been dizzy and nauseous all day. I’m having to stay off the paracetamol today and neither ibuprofen or aspirin are up to the task, so I’m also in a shocking amount of pain because not only if the abscess itself very painful, but the swelling is pressing on my sinuses too. Bah!

You can see how swollen my face is on the side which is affected.

  13. FFS mate you're gonna have to get that sorted as soon as possible cus it ain't gonna cure itself.

You can get into serious trouble with an infection like that... emergency dentist or 111.

  14. I had one on the other side at the bottom earlier this year, but it got better by itself and then I pulled the tooth out DIY style with a pair of pliers. If it’s no better tomorrow I’ll go to the dentists.

  15. Dude...Please don't overdo the recommended paracetamol intake!..seriously, it's way too easy to end up with liver damage.

  19. It won’t get better on its own. Go to a Dentist straight away, whereupon they may well give you a prescription for antibiotics to take the swelling and infection down before they can operate. My dad was a Dentist, we used to get people turning up at the door like that all the time.

A few years ago I ignored a broken finger. When I eventually went to the Doc, then hospital and told them everything tastes weird too they immediately injected me with antibiotics. Apparently I would have been dead by the morning from septicaemia if I’d left it any longer.

One of the early signs of septicaemia is it effects your taste buds.

  20. The one I had on the other side did get better by itself, but this one is worse. I don’t feel nauseous or dizzy today and it’s not as painful, but my face is still very swollen. I’ll call the dentist when they open at 9.

That info about septicaemia making you lose your sense of taste is interesting. I didn’t know that.
