Took a hike up to the Spanish fort in Hvar yesterday mostly for the views over the old town Then a mooch around the harbour, security was high on the one flying the Red Duster.

This morning we are going to pick up another puppy. We've just got past the waking up to a "shit fest" stage with the puppy we got 2 months ago and we will be starting it all again with the new one........I must have suffered brain damage when I had my cardiac arrest to have agreed to get another dog
Took the van back to have the wheel alignment done again, after fitting 2 new lower control arms, all good now Then went back in to Hinckley to the EE shop to complain about going charged for phone calls whilst I was on holiday in Tunisia, my new contract was set up to supposedly include Tunisia in my free roaming calls, I got a refund credited to my account Then braved the gale force winds to ride over to Huggy's Speed Shop, Mallory Park, for their autojumble and coffee morning thing they have regular Got home just before it started hammering it down with rain
Walked our F ing legs off.. The owners of our Airbnb have kindly offered to take us out to their restaurant for dinner this evening. Better be on best behaviour! Here’s a random picture.
Made the best shepherds pie in the world, of all time. Slow cooked the lamb in a beef and veal stock, with diced veg for 8 hours, while I went out on the bike. Reduced down with a homemade roux, then made a cheddar mash with loads of butter, cream and seasoning. Served with roasted veg, and copious amounts of red wine. Zoey always gets her own bowl of whatever I make, and she absolutely loved it. We’re all struggling to stay awake now. View attachment 345942
