Dymag Up7x Forged Wheels - Thoughts?

  1. Bikehps link isn't working for me, but looked on their website, personally think they should be a bit cheaper. If you're close enough could you go and pay cash, then at least the seller won't be getting robbed by eBay, that will save him about £250, so that gets to £1500, with a bit of a haggle surely you'll get for about £1200-1400 cash.
Look smart, but can't think they'll be much lighter than forged marchesini, but will be lighter than cast.

  2. The up7x wheels are on of the lightest wheels you can buy in forged aluminium, I've been looking at wheels for ages and done alot of research on them.

  3. eBay ad says they are suitable for 749/999. Pics show a single side rear….

  4. There are no seller fees on EBay anymore and no therefore no savings for the seller if you pay by cash or via eBay. They have changed their business model.

  5. Looks like they’re on a standard Monster 1200 and in excellent condition. £1500 I’d say. They’re about £2300 new.

I have a set of UP7’s on my Monster SP, the original wheels are cast not forged so the weight saving was massive..really pleased with the quality. My intention was some track days this year but unfortunately that never happened.

  8. based on new price feels like they need to be closer to 1000-1100?

  9. The pic on the advert is definitely SSA wheel as @RickyX said so will not fit a 999.
£1500 is cheap/ fair for those wheels. If anyone offered me £1k I’d just block them.

    Missed that detail!

  13. new up7x are £2600 but dymag currently have 15% discount

  14. Not half. I sold some old fairing panels to start a declutter, buyer paid, sent them off ( to NI), buyer happy, all fine except eBay won’t release the money to me unless I link my bank account to my eBay account, and they subsequently restricted my eBay access until I do. As far as I’m concerned, they can keep the money and delete my account before I will link my current account directly to eBay, or set up another bank account that links to both eBay and my current account.

  15. I hate using ebay now, no need to put your phone number on a post-it note and add it to the pictures anymore then

  16. ok folks so decision made
having just spoken to @Paul55 and with @Expat Jack being the constant pita that he is, i am gonna ditch the 749 track slag upgrade and instead sell it and buy something like a 959
so for now no bling for me!
