How many ducabike red wheel nuts do I need to order? There is two on the rear wheel, isn’t there? I’ve bought a red ducabike wheel nut, thinking only one was on the rear wheel but there’s two isn’t there? Do both come off? Or is the one on the carrier side, fixed?
Yeah, there are 2, one each side. Just make sure you a) order the correct ones, and b) don’t mix them up They’re rated for different torque settings for each side, put the sprocket carrier nut on the wheel side and torque it to 230nm and you’ll likely crack the nut.
It’s ok, I’ve looked into it and the nut I have is for the wheel side. I need DPC02 for the carrier side.
That’s the wheel side, the carrier side is probably rated 150Nm. I’ve seen them mixed up on bikes, hence I pointed it out.
Yeah, a relevant point out, I had no idea but after your post I managed to order the correct nut for the carrier side. Everyday is a school day.
