Moto G P Indonesia (spoilers )

  1. Bezzecchi very fast, and determined in the Sprint.

I think the technical problem with Pecco's bike is that the speedo does not go up to a high enough speed - it probably only goes up to - like 130 or something.

So if they fit a speedo on his bike that goes up to like 180 then he will be able to go faster and win the races. :D

  2. Great race, glad Bez won.

Hardly a great day for either of the factory Ducatis. (or weekend really).

The news of the weekend for me is M Lav racing signing an Australian with zero wins in 75 Grand Prix’ for next season.

If you ever wonder why there’s no British riders coming through etc…

Suzi and Hodgson having that car crash interview with the DORNA rep too and basically demanding why there arent more British teams and riders like it’s a god given right of the British and why are 70% of the fields made up of French and Spanish and he replied cos they’re not good enough and no rider worth their salt gets overlooked these days haha finally the penny began to drop on their faces. Depressing future ahead for *us Brits.

  3. If only Bez and Aprilia could have been on form from the start of the season…etc
Top rider though and pleased he is now getting the results.
Pecco? Not even a different bike would sort his head out. Lost at sea.
Aldeguer showing why Ducati wanted him.
Wish Acosta could bring it home more often. He reminds me of a very talented car driver, a certain Schumacher..he spent his first season or two crashing, then was unstoppable once he worked out that crash=no reward.

  4. I would have had him near the top of the crash stats if asked.

Another three more for Zarco so far this weekend and as for Miller, well I think I may have mentioned something once or twice before.

  5. GWS MM93.

  6. And it’s just got a lot worse.

  7. Fair play to Fermin, can’t even remember what I was doing at 20 years old and whatever mischief I was up to, it certainly didn’t include winning moto gp races.

  8. Watched that crash a couple of times now and I genuinely believe Bez didn’t realise how shit that 2025 bike was going to be through that sector.. Wasn’t just Pecco struggling with grip and why 93 only qualified 9th. You can tell as well by how much quicker raul bloody Fernandez was when he overtook and went past 93.
Horrible crash. Going to be a few riders missing in PI.

  9. Plenty of action today. Just shows how luck can influence a championship. First real injury in a while for Marc, doesnt matter now.
Acosta just keeps battling. Well done.
Aldeguer, quality ride. The one to watch for next year…Lenovo seat very soon?
Bez crash, Marc corrected his line going in to the corner, not sure if that threw Bez a bit. Nasty though. Second day that Aprilia has not launched well off the line.

  10. Can I assume this was just lost in translation? What’s he got to be devastated as a person about ?

“He’s devastated right now, first as a person and even more so as a rider,” the team manager said.

“We want to protect Pecco and his emotions. If he came here with tears in his eyes, it couldn’t be otherwise.

“He’s a very sensitive guy, a fast rider, but right now we think it’s best to leave him alone and try to work to get him in a position to perform at Phillip Island.”

  11. That was a good race to watch. Acosta and Morini fighting for second - they went a bit wide and five riders came past in a flash ! down to eighth place. Funny.

Bad one for Marc Marquez. Will he finish the season ?

Perhaps that is the deal with Pecco - figures it best to ride it relatively slowly and finish rather than try and ride it quickly and keep sliding it down the road with chances of nasty injuries.

Nobody can call the racing boring anymore - surely.

  12. He's not being allowed near the media, not because he's devastated but, because he's fucking livid and might risk revealing he was on a GP24 at Motegi.

  13. Uccio seems to have done that for him

“Ducati asked us so we helped Pecco a little bit. He tried our bike, Morbidelli’s bike at the Misano test. But after Monday, the bike came back in our box. And after that I don’t know [what bike he has been riding since].” Salucci said during the FP1 broadcast ahead of the Indonesian GP.

I can't see him in the Factory team after his current contract expires unless he has an exceptional start to next year, I think Fermin will get the seat and he will go to VR46.

  14. From a head space perspective he should be back with vr46 next year imo although he’ll still be stuck on the bike he largely hasn’t been able to ride all this year. Still wouldn’t rule it out if he trails about in last for the rest of the season.

And with 93 sidelined until November he’ll get full focus from the team for the next two rounds so no excuses and all that.

  15. I wonder if Ducati will do the decent thing and give Alvaro a go on 93s bike as a thank you for all you’ve done etc…
He might need to do a few air miles over the next couple of weeks but I’m sure he’d appreciate it all the same.

  16. And imagine if Pirro or a stand in rider beats Pecco at PI :eyes:
