It’s not far off its rivals. However, its rivals are air cooled, SOHC, 5 speed not water cooled, DOHC, 6 speed. Basic engineering, basic metals/alloys. Andy
We have covid in the house and covid protocol at the ready Milton/masks/windows open I'm negative thankfully
It was. Thx. Actually, I wouldn't want either. I'll stick with my KTM and try and get my ST3 back on the road.
Sxv tyre change didnt go without it's usual fight - never had tyre problems with any other of my bikes...just the ole 'fightin sxv'... old tyre refused to come off to had to cut the bead with a dremmel. In the process knicked the rim so need a bit of paint..
I’m in Spain and the Mrs has gone back to England for a friends birthday bash. She said she’d be away 4-5 days so I wondered what to do with the time. Tough decision. Bro six is on his way down through Spain with a mate so I thought I’d go up and meet him en route. Quick message to ’The Laughing German’ and he was immediately in for an impromptu tour. ‘Das it’s gut’. We left this morning at 9 am ( now yesterday) went down to the coast, along Med then up to the Sierra Nevada. The road along the south side of the Sierra’s has got to be one of the best I’ve ever done. Empty, twisty, smooth with fast bits. Then we turned north and went over the mountain range to Guadix followed by a fast bash up to Ubeda before any rain set in. Got to say it was a fabulous day. Today we’re off to Cordoba, probably via an enjoyable circuitous route. When the cat’s away the mice will play.
Lunch stop in Cadair. No matter what the temperature ’Laughing Boy’ likes to wear the bank robbers mask to soak up sweat.
Not today but yesterday. Needed to pop over to Southampton to visit the Land Rover specialist Motor Factors for a part for my Discovery. Decided it was a great excuse to get the Multi out. Obviously enjoyed it, but the final part of the journey heading down towards Dock Gate 20 I was the only vehicle that wasn't a container lorry or car transporter. I must admit it was a little disconcerting being sandwiched between them on all sides whilst moving. .
Thanks. It’s a kombi so have 5 seats up front on swivels; and bed, kitchen and toilet in the back with space for a bike. Wanted a proper motorhome but they were too big with a garage as I needed it as my daily driver
My day is going badly. I j was going to pose a non-Ducati, or even non-anyKindOfMotorbike question, but I see we are back to vans, so I will leave quietly.
