I have a weekend on my own except the cat. My wife has gone to the eldest daughters, the youngest is scoping out Exeter to move there and the dogs are farmed out. After buying fresh bread for Bacon & egg sandwich I took the winter bike out and rode down to Bournemouth Ducati hoping to get a coffee, nope. Next was Poole to call in at the Sbomb cafe to check its suitability for a group ride and a lunch spot, nbg as they are not doing food at present. Briefly popped into the Trek cycle shop. Next to Christchurch to see a friend at Destination Triumph, he was having lunch. Then I eventually hit the jackpot by calling in at Sammy Millers new cafe. Excellent toastie and good coffee so that’s the ride destination sorted. Back home for a spot of DIY, patching a hole in the living room ceiling where we had a leak. Just deciding on whether to get out quick on the bicycle or just hit the garage turbo…..
Went out with a mate today, he wanted to pop over to the superbike factory, in the old P&H shop. Oh dear. I’ve never seen such a poor display of tatty bikes before in my life. They reckon they sell 300 a month! Had this on the way home, which was rather good….

as we head into that time of year i was thinking how reliable the boiler has been but oh no, without fail/bang on cue - water pump suddenly has a noisy bearing. Not a bad job on a modern unit though, as we all know.
Been out on the streetfighter for the first time since I damaged my cruciate ligament in my knee at the end of July. Hurts less while riding than it does walking around. Going to take that as a sign
Maldons about as far south as i go atm Maybe across to ongar but only if I'm riding with mates doing a big loop up to finchingfield. Otherwise i choose to ride into suffolk and ride around there by myself
My K5 1000 came from SBF Donington showroom, to be fair, the bike was in pretty good condition, apart from all the chavvy shite that a previous owner had fitted, such as them gel stickers, and anodised gold tat
New for me today a Car Show at Forest Row and then onto the Ardingly bike show, with sun out all was worth getting out of the bed this morning.
it’s absolute trash isn’t it, every time you see Ducatis etc for sale and they are Superbike factory they are always damaged, broken mirrors etc. I advise all my friends to avoid Superbike factory like the plague, in fact recently had a friend who did buy one there and it’s been back twice for issues before she just got a refund
Morning, hope everyone is having a better one than we've had/having...……..Doris went to bed at 10.30pm as she didn't feel well and I followed at around 11pm leaving the pups messing in their pen and the littlest one yelping. Then I think around 2am we heard our older dog scratching and whinging wanting to go out for a poo, so Doris got up till god knows when cos the pups decided they were gonna fuck about and yelp all night. She then came back to bed...…...I was dozing in and out of sleep but decided to look at the cameras we have in the "family area" at 6am only to see the pups bounding around in the pen narrowly avoiding the shit fest also in there, so I decided to get up to clean the pen. I lifted the pups out and put them on the sofa then pulled up all the dirty pads, inside and outside the pen and binned them. Came back inside to find one of them had shat and pissed outside the pen, I cleaned that up, binned it again, and mopped the floor. I then opened the blinds to the patio door near the pen and went to make a cuppa...…..only to find another massive pool of piss in the kitchen. I cleaned that up and mopped the floor, and put the kettle on. Turned to go and sit down whilst the kettle was boiling to find 3 lots of shit and piss on the floor near the kitchen door. All these "accidents" done in the split second I had turned my back. Another rant by me whilst I cleaned it up, mopped the floor and sat down on the sofa (all while the kettle is boiling), Decided to wipe the youngest pup's arse with a wet wipe to see if he was the culprit of the last "accident" and he was...….so I wiped him up , binned the wet wipes, washed my hands, finished making my cuppa and sat down on the sofa. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw something glistening on the floor by the sideboard so I went to inspect and yes, you guessed it yet another pool of piss done when I had turned my back for 10 seconds. Now that's all cleaned up and I'm able to drink my luke warm cup of tea whilst they are sat on the sofa as if fuck all has happened...……..and all before 8am. I wouldn't care but I've got my first cardiac rehabilitation class today and I'm gonna look fucking dreadful and as if I died for another 8 minutes this morning! Good morning btw EDIT: I must have suffered brain damage when I said we should get a pup then agreed to get another as a playmate ffs - I've just been to make the big dog her breakfast in the utility room...……..just finished mixing it all up to see the youngest pup walk in and promptly piss all over the utility room floor......FML!
