Alas, it does not improve in its bottle at all... The good news is that Reposado is already perfectly aged in the barrel prior to bottling.
The damage done to my left leg was too severe to be undone by "a bit of work in the gym". At an early stage, I was "nil by mouth" for 24 hours, in preparation for the leg to be amputated. Thankfully, they changed their minds on the day - for which, I am eternally grateful!
At £9000-odd I would still incline towards the Ducatis. It's five kilos over my self-imposed weight limit, but I am not ruling it out. I'll have a look at one next time that I'm in Fowlers. Talking of Ducati, I felt the scrambler (y'know, the one that bike that is in no way a scrambler) would suit my needs well. But then I got this thing in my head over 19 inch front wheels looking crappy. I think that may just be mad me!
My world of madness continues: I eventually got through to Cater Allen (twice!) and although they never got this strange mobile number from me, to change it to the right one, they need written authority from both me and my solicitor/trustee. I told them of this big payment that I want to make to a cousin in Florida and this cannot be done on-line, you criminal you! It has to be done by me walking the 130 miles to London, getting the cash out (in dollars) from the Bank of England and then rowing the Atlantic but only half way to hand over the bags of cash to my cousin in his rowing boat and then rowing home. Something like that anyway. Anyway, because my Windows computer is broken, I can't scan or print, so I hope that a photo of my mobile number on their headed paper addressed to me, will suffice. My solicitor/trustee has to do something similar. If not, then that's me done with it. I can only do so much. And I can't even use my winnings to buy another motorbike, so it is not of great importance to me! Anyway, on motorbikes, my feeling have changed (as they do with the weather!). The Yamaha MT07 or Triumph Trident 660, both of which, I can get in Fowlers. My KTM will do me for a while, anyway.
This is all spellbinding information that keeps all on the edge of their seats. I know. I may of mentioned this before, but I can't find stuff - especially my shit, but that's just life. Still going to go to Fowlers to look at the Yamaha MT07 and Triumph Trident 660, but that raises something else. The Ducati Scrambler. There is much that fits my preferences on this bike, but there are things that I don't like - the 18 inch front wheel, the "X" across the headlight and there was something else but I cannot remember so It can't be noteworthy. Now, I doubt that I would notice the front wheel size and I don't ride in the dark, so the headlamp isn't unimportant. So which bike would you choose out of the three? This is Windows 11 Pro on a new Dell laptop that arrived today. Much to sort out, but I do this website first! The DVLA are back on to me. Somebody there must be upset, but I can't remember being that rude. They have sent me a form to fill in asking about who my Doctor really is and when did I last go to see them. I told them about Berkeley Health Centre before, where I haven't been for years, but they must think me a liar! Such nice people! + +ucati is the best choice
Yamaha MT07 Triumph Trident 660 Ducati Scrambler The choice (in no particular order) just to benefit my memory. After going to Fowlers, I may go on to Riders to look at a new Scrambler.
Went to Fowlers: went to look at the Yam MT07 and then got side-tracked by Yamaha’s Y-AMT transmission. That looks right for me. I drive an auto car, so why shouldn't bikes catch up? No clutch lever or gear shifter. You can, if you really want to, press buttons in the LH switch gear to manually change up or down. This is the same as my car. It is everything that I would want, so that will be next after I bore of the KTM. it is somewhere around 70 bhp and that is fine for me. The price of the AMT version was about £8050. I would add some shit like the windscreen and a lowering kit as it was a bit too tall for me to be really comfortable. Seat height was OK but if I can lower it 20mm, then I 'll take that. The other bike of interest was the Triumph Trident 660, but was crappy to get off and on and didn't do anything for me. My bacon and sausage roll did more for me! I had a Yamaha RD250 about 49 years ago and a shagged out RD200 about 30 years ago, but never a Yamaha four stroke. I've had (and may still have) a Yamaha guitar but that won't count. This was a Triumph Thruxton that was already a single seater as standard. I dunno what the weight was but it was really cool. Apparently Triumph don't do them now which is a shame. I will look around for a used one when I want to next buy as it would work for me in that £7 grand price bracket.
just a reminder ...........this is a ducati multistrada v4 forum so why would anyone on this forum be interested in this latest comments/ramblings ..you need to cut and paste this to the "enid blyton" forum ASAP
