  1. Decided to get back into biking after 7 to 8 years off. Always wanted a ducati so went ahead with getting a 899 Panigale, in red of course! IMG-20251020-WA0004.jpg

what do you want to know?

  9. Welcome and enjoy

  10. Thanks for the reply
May have some potentialy daft questions but......
Is the turnover on start up of the v2 engine relativly slow? Having only had inline 4 or triple before cranking seems slow. Appriciate as anew bike thats maybe been sat in a showroom fot a few months the battery might need a good charge or replacement

  11. id say yes they are a bit slower, defo give it a charge as mine went flat last week and started playing up saying it was in gear when actually in neutral. once charged it was fine but noticed the voltage dropping when idling sp ive bought a new battery and optimate just to be sure.

  12. Worth upgrading to litium? Will need new trickle charger tho.

  13. ive heard you shouldnt but not looked into it too much so just went with normal yuasa

  14. Hello Alan Weston. Nice bike and watch that gravel. What's the seat height like?

  15. i think both cylinders have to go throw a complete cycle before it comes to life, you get used to it

i tend to keep it on an optimiser as the immobiliser can drain the battery, although i have left mine 2 months before between starts no problem

  16. You could buy a CCA meter, just to check battery ampage?
