  1. Only just finished watching FP1, will catch the second session this afternoon, couple of snippets;

Ogden plans to stay with cip, still awaiting confirmation though.

Jake broke the lap record twice in moto 2 and went fastest.

No more 93 this year (not even the end of season test).

Pecco second, back on form. and on a greasy track (before the rain came)!

  2. No ducati in the top five and the first and second biggest crashers all season (Zarco and Miller) second and third!
Pecco actually looks a lot better even though he’s going through q1.
    Bizarre day.

  3. lol @ pecco leaving Hodgson and the idiot gasping at how wrong they e been pretty much all weekend so far.

Chuckling away yesterday at how he didn’t even stand a chance of a podium in the sprint.
    Glorious.

  4. It’s giving Ducati a much bigger headache imho. His performance today was impressive but he has shown how inconsistent he is. The decision to ditch him just got harder. For what it’s worth and, simply from a business head perspective, I would ditch him into a satellite team for next year. Too inconsistent to be on a full factory bike.
But very, very pleased for him that he is back at the pointy end (today).

  5. Absolutely no chance they’d ditch him. Why would they after a few shit rounds? Even Ducati aren’t that twattish/petty.
And who would they replace him with that would do a better job?
Complete careful what you wish for situation that would end up imo.
He’s still a three time world
Champion before anyone stars waffling on about Aldegeur who’s already in the second best team on the grid.

  6. Good race today. Baggy eh…wtf?
That bloody tyre pressure rule though. Surprised they have not got another method in place. It will come back to haunt them after rider celebrations at some point. There must be a better way.

  7. Assume that will only come with the switch to Pirelli’s?
I see Acosta got fined for not obeying the new three minute crash rule in qualifying too!

  8. Re pecco it was interesting to hear tardozzi trying to explain on the grid his issues were around small holes in the track at PI (WTF!) and a greasy track in Indonesia, when Pecco was second yesterday on a track 4 seconds slower than they were going round today. It was only a timing mistake he admitted himself that saw him miss out going straight to Q2.
No wonder some people are scratching their heads (and some others are revelling in it).

  9. Bez 16th to 7th in a ten lap race was impressive too.

  10. The last few rounds are exactly why *they love Marquez because it doesn’t make them have to think too much and does t leave them with egg on their faces on a weekly basis, look how open it is (and was) without him.
Exactly what I’ve said all along and for the avoidance of doubt NOT a dig at 93.

  11. Watching Pecco in Q2 - I would quite happily have just watched him ride a GP bike like that - without any racing.

  12. Absolute poetry wasn’t it and up there with Toprak, although *slightly different riding styles.

  13. Hope Rueda and Dettweiler are ok. Must be an absolute nightmare being hospitalised in the arse end of the world when everyone’s flying home.
Have to say TNT are very good at not showing horrible crashes in their bike coverage unlike the cycling (they were very quick to cut away at BSB last weekend too).
Well done Furusato on his first win.

  14. Re MotoGP. That did not look like a puncture to me. Any updates?

  15. Well done to Jake btw. Absolute masterclass this weekend, amazing what you can achieve when you don’t dick about in qualifying!

He could still win the title with two rounds to go lol.

Manu Gonzalez though. I think this is what you call a massive flap but he could of course turn it around. Not looking good rn though.

At least we’ll have a title going to the final round I guess .

  16. Ogden did well too not that you’d know it from Hodgson and the Yorkshire puddings incessant obsession with identifying the next 93/Rossi (and lying about it). Zzzzzzz

  17. Just seen they had over 100,000 more spectators this weekend than Silverstone.
Unreal when you consider two of the championships were/are already over.

  18. A change of UK venue would remedy a lot of that :bucktooth:
