I was just about to pay my deposit for a trip to Southern Ireland in April when I thought I'd double check the dates. Turns out that that weekend I have booked and paid to go and see Yungblud, who I really want to see, so I am gonna have to give that trip a miss. I'm gutted. Then I thought I'd check the dates for the trip to then IOM in May..................fucked again as I've booked and paid to see the Prodigy that weekend. So it looks like I'll have to go to the Harz Mountains in Germany in June instead
Sold some bits at the weekend so came into town to put a cash wad in the bank and thought, sod it. Sat in front of a pint of Ashai and waiting on a Donburi Andy
finally got my E bike parts in the post, and very pleased with the quality. People are quick to knock Chinese manufactured stuff but I honestly can't fault this. The free hub bearings had become sloppy and it was enough to make a gear change difficult (and we all know about that on this forum don't we!?). I probably could've dismantled it and changed the bearings but I've just got to that stage in life where it's easier to cough up sometimes, besides it doesn't owe me anything as it's done over 4000 miles. P.S.I intended to enclose a picture but for some reason the forum won't allow this, despite the file size
Cleared up a shit load of leaves, trimmed the conifers (they're supposed to be dwarfs!) dead headed the roses -probably for the last time, and put away the hammock. Always a bit of shame when you have to accept there won't be an Indian summer...again.
Did a 300km loop to the Gorge de Verdon with a mate. I'm so NOT bike fit..everything aches. <<photo won't upload, so you'll have to imagine>>
