  1. That would work but the correct one has one straight pipe and one at 90 degrees. The soft pipes are pre shaped so it just works better. I'll get a photo and post it later.

  2. I didn't have a problem with filters, pump or pipes. The only issue was the large 'O' ring getting snagged when tightening the assembly together.

  4. Are you talking about the MV? My tank had swelled so I had to source larger o rings. 3/16 in instead of 1/8 in. They were an absolute brugger to get in. Lol.

  5. Aaah gotcha, looks like I was thinking about the other style of filter they had on some years. It sits in a little rubber sleeve on the right hand side of the frame.

  6. No it was a 748 unit trying to get it back into the tank. Third time lucky, I wasted 2 o rings, not cheap.

  7. Yes it's pretty much the same system. Plastic tanks don't do well on Ethanol.

  8. That's the new one arrived.

  10. A job for the spring probably but there are various bits of bubbly paint on the wheels and the paint on the drive side engine case is toasty. The wheels can probably be blown in but the case needs stripping and repainted. Also the front disc centres. Any recommendations for paint suppliers?

  11. i just remembered. the original owner (I'm the second Via DG) of my Fugly came from Caithness. surly no?

  14. Do tell?

  15. starting issues that were apparent from the first start up, after fuelling up, just along the road, from picking it up.
first and foremost, i don't wont to get into a slagfest. on the the Whole, DG, particularly in their original guise, were/are a good bunch. a few trips up and down the road didn't resolve the issue. i eventually diagnosed and repaired it myself. just out of warranty.
    a tad annoying.
but hayho. it didn't stop me from purchasing another bike from them. tho, had i been completely sober at the time of my second purchase. it might not have happened.
    chortle.
