959 Panigale 959 Poor Cold Start

  1. If you have a cold start problem with these bikes, ducati were supposed to have an ecu update which would cure this.
If it hasn't then the problem (assuming everything else is ok) will probably lie in the fuel temperature correction file.
Just done one and the correction factors were a bit random, and major difference between the 2 cylinders.

  2. Mine quite often won’t start from cold, then after several power cycles and fuel pump primes it eventually goes. I’ll check recalls but also a friend thinks it’s time for a new battery

  3. Battery is what the owner thought as well, but it starts instantly now.

  4. No outstanding recalls on my bike, so I guess it’s okay. I’ll keep an eye on it, it didn’t seem to do it when it wasn’t on the trickle charger between rides, weirdly…
