Hi all, I have just part exchanged my 2013 Multistrada 1200 PP for a 2019 1260 PP, as part of the PX it included my full set of Ducati luggage (panniers and top box) that came with the bike, I did research prior to the deal and thought and read that the luggage wouldn't fit on my new 2019 PP but I have since been told that they would have fitted? can anyone help and confirm whether they would of fitted or not, it just means I know what to look for on Ebay etc, thanks.
No they won’t or wouldn’t. You’ll have to buy the luggage specifically for the DVT Multistrada’s. Those cheeky monkeys in Bologna like to get you to pay again. Most likely lots of good used luggage available.
Thanks "Sam1199" at least I don't feel quite so bad knowing that I couldnt of kept them anyway, I'll begin my search for some second gear....
I have had Givi Trekker Outback on my DVT for years and they're great. If you can find a set, go for it! Paired with the standard top box (which has a Givi mount - as it's made by them) and the Givi tank bag it was a brilliant combo.
Another thumbs up for the Givi Outback Trekker panniers, fitted mine yesterday, using PLOR7412CAM mounting kit For the Multistrada 1260 Enduro
Hey Neil, Thanks for the additional review, I still havent quite got round to getting a set yet but I will defo look into these trekkers....
No worries Just make sure you can get the mounting rack, i had a proper debacle getting a set, I had 2 UK bike shops let me down, ended up taking a gamble with a set from a shop in Italy, got stung for £80 import duty and handling fee !
