Slower, less power, heavier. Possibly.

 

Not heavier or slower. The new v2 engine is 11kg lighter then the desmo V2 engine.

Interesting how all the media outlets that said the new v2 is incredible and the best thing since sliced bread are ALREADY referencing the engine as ‘utilitarian and slightly uninspiring’…. Read MCN streetfighter long term update.

it will be a shame if they swap out all the mid market bikes with this new engine and people do indeed find them a bit soulless

 

We need a new HyperStrada in the range, a midweight tourer as the Multis are just mahoooooooosive ......

 

While you’re at it Ducati; throw in a new leccy supercharged Super Mono.

Not sure on the white wheels on the SP but the standard bike looks great.

I think the SP looks bloody awesome! As a previous owner of the 950 SP, I think they’ve done a great job. I’m looking forward to having a go on one.

 

It needs to at nearly £18k. With the extra bits needed.

 

I didn’t realise it was SUCH a jump in price, £4K between standard and the sp, I think I’d be tempted if get the stock one.

 

Yeah I specced one on the configurator earlier to just under £20k, by the time it has the full system and a couple of other bits.
