Could you imagine coming home from a night on the beer and looking up to find your house, think i would just sleep it off on a bench.
I used to stay in a hotel just round the corner from the yellow houses that look like they've fallen over. I had to go every month or so for work @18yrs ago. Nice city, friendly people.
Have witnessed quite a lot of homeless and drunken brawls, bit like being at home really! Great market place across the way from the houses.
Took my MS Enduro for an MOT today, which it passed, then had bit of a blat round whilst the sun shone. Just setting up for another evening looking after a very stressed doggy with the fireworks going off. Classic FM on the radio with their specialy chosen playlist. .
Did my first ever park run today and managed to jog all the way around, never ran anywhere before. Legs are properly aching .A quick night away with my daughter in the campervan as the weather is great and she's never stayed in it before. A lovely day so far. We've bought a curry to have tonight and a few beers.
Living the life, Royal mail delivered a parcel this afternoon with replacement bags and filters for my VAX 6000 series vacuum cleaner. Wahoo ! Andy
So to top it off I've also ordered one of these https://www.wishlover.com/products/...LbSo3OgT58uWFarGOA_aem_fMuf4ZA4UEdmjHS0i6qPpw
Lost at squash this morning to my 18 year old son...feeling a bit sore (physically and mentally tbh ) I have thrashed him for the last 3 weeks though...so not too bad.
I've just hanged a new double convector radiator and forgot about the bracket position even tough i measured for them, God damn it i'm rusty on the tools these days, they must be placed into the skip before i do anymore damage.
did my favourite journey on the cheatmobile. tide was very low. Clumsily stepped on the ego of a couple of leotard-clad cyclists.
I used to love winding those fuckers up, and then watch their faces drop when they realised the bike was switched off. Twats.
mine was switched on and flat-out. To their credit, they were achieving at least 25 mph for long durations, just not as long-a duration as an electric motor. Only two of them took it personally, and made a massive effort to pass me again, but they could only sustain this for a few yards (so what was the point?) ...i did say sorry when i re-passed them for the last time.
A great poppy display, but i think that veteran has a valid point as no British flag flying on the most important sunday.
For half the morning I have been cleaning up puppy piss as every time I turned around there was another puddle of piss. How two little dogs can produce so much piss is beyond me. For the other half of the morning I have been food shopping, and then I had to change the battery to my car key cos the car told me I had to.
