So what have you done today..?

  1. 2027 if I still have a driving license that the DVLA are gagging to take away from me.

I seem to have upset someone in the DVLA Medical Group and they want revenge. BIG TIME!

  2. You may find the MT-07 a bit underpowered, iirc, it has around 68bhp, I'm sure it is the same parallel twin as in the R7

  3. Yeah Pretty sure DVLA operates on a personal vendetta system.

  4. I've just had the two pups out for a walk for the past couple of hours. This is only the second time the little one has been out and he's taken to the (double) lead quite nicely :)

  5. Went to Guildford for the afternoon/ evening yesterday, so am feeling a little delicate today. As the weather is shite, we’re spending the afternoon vegging out, before going to the mother in laws for dinner tonight.

  6. A game that you could start: list the good things of Guildford - a very short game . . . . . .

  8. Home alone this weekend. Walked the dogs this morning followed by the weekly food shop . Bacon rolls for lunch . Cycle ride this afternoon in the damp and mist . Just watching WRC Japan, god those boys are fearless and supe skillful . Going to pop up the chippy later for dinner and watch the Moto gp sprint race . Decent day considering the weather.

  9. Rear bearings done on the zed - not all bearings are the same....OEM on the marchesini's i guess have lasted 13k or so....bought some generic bearings on ebay a few years back when i was rebuilding the zed after the head on...i guess they did about 3k or so - the carrier bearing is also a cheapie - fitted that back at the start of the year and its already feeling a bit gritty.... NTN bearings were 2 1/2 time more than the OEM cheapies....SKF for the carrier about 4 times more...48 quid....

  10. Nothing wrong with Guildford. I could certainly think of much worse towns in the local vicinity.

  11. made preparations to replace failed BMS on large E-bike battery i purchased recently. Struggling to raise the enthusiasm today.
Confirmed fuel level sender and "low fuel" electric circuits work on my old car - surprised me a little as hasn't been used since pre-COVID.

  14. Been looking at lifts for ages. Saw this US-made bike lift on the evilBay and it seemed to be a possible (tight) fit into my small garage's shallow pit. Quick drive to Yeovil and it measured up as a definite possible :upyeah:

    Trial fit was good

Some cutting, welding & inventing to make the front-wheel hoop removable and ta-da - result :)

    You just wouldn't know...

There is, indeed, no room for cat swinging in my garage:D
