  1. Yeah, I like Lando too.

Huge win and now leading the WDC but only by one point. Four races to go.

  3. But why was he being boo’d? Don’t understand.

Hamilton is turning the season around slowly, credit where it’s due, the result doesn’t look great but without the penalty it would have been somewhere around the podium

  4. Even discounting the first half to allow some acclimation, (a 7 time WDC shouldn't too much surely?) Lewis has been thrashed by his team mate all season. There was a Sprint race victory but...

I'd like to see him finish his career in a blaze of glory, but this is appearing unlikely imo.

  5. Interesting comparison.

  6. InterLagos is the greatest car track in the world. No gravel either.

  7. Great video!

  8. His stake is 5% of that figure - not bloody bad though!

  9. Lando edges Max in quali for pole. Piastri in fifth.

Worst ever start position for Lewis in last, & team mate LeClerc not much better in 9th.

Anyone ready to guess the WDC 2025 yet?

  10. Hamilton went from 8th to 20th in the last 3 minutes of q1.
Have to say it was very entertaining.

  11. Harsh! But true... Hopefully it means a spirited drive through the pack to at least mid field?

  12. He will likely get bummed by the idiots running Ferrari, again.

  13. Always a possibility. But he chose to end his career at Ferrari, presumably for "*the glory" as it couldn't have been based on any recent seasons results. Seems that the ending might be different than he hoped.

*Ludicrous idea held by some drivers that winning a WDC in a red car is somehow better. Presumably that is due to the improbability of this happening. Schumacher and Raikkonen must have been gods!

  14. Id like to think he joined Ferrari at the end of his career to help them get back to where they belong. I don’t think there were any expectations of winning titles but this whole experience must be a massive kick in the gut for him.

  15. HAM swallowed a crock and let his ego over rule his sense.

    He could have asked Vettel.
He knew what happened to Alonso at Ferrari.
He knew that Ferrari haven't won any championships since Kimi in 07, and the constructors in '08.

Ferrari stock hit a record high of $384.00, jumping 10% with investors reacting positively to the financial and brand implications of signing Hamilton. This surge added about $7 billion to the company's market cap.

Lewis got a dream. Elkann's family got $1,540,000,000 (22% owners of Ferrari).

    Maybe next year...

  16. Hand it to verstrapon now and be done with it.

  17. Max takes his 6th race win.

Both Macca drivers were disqualified. The FIA found that the plank wear on Norris and Piastri's McLarens was below the minimum thickness required. The infringements were small - between 0.07mm and 0.12mm on the skids on Norris' car and between 0.04mm and 0.26mm on Piastri's. But a car either complies or it does not, no matter how infinitesimal the infraction...

It means that Norris is now 24 points ahead of Piastri and Verstappen - who are level on points - with two rounds to go.

    I wasn't expecting that!

  18. Makes it an interesting run in. The bogey man Max is now well and truly in McLaren’s rear view mirrors so to speak.

A 24 point lead is very handy/defendable for Lando. But as Fergie would say ‘it’s squeaky bum time’ :D
