  1. I know. I’ve got the breaking strain of a KitKat when it comes to a cheeky remap… :imp::laughing:

  2. My Mrs had an Audi diesel that used adblue and although, due to the low mileage, I only had to fill it twice in the 3 years we had it, I did wonder whether I could just piss in the tank?

  4. As part of the deal when he bought it new came free 'at Tesla station' charging for 'life'. So he's had 7 years of fuel cost-free driving back and forth to Switzerland. I guess you don't get 'rich' without being money savvy eh.. Don't know about service intervals, but would expect similar to ICE cars.

  5. My mates wife had one. He was moaning about ridiculous tyre consumption. I guess all that weight and shit tons of torque will indeed chew through tyres. He wasn’t convinced with all the ‘free’ energy either. Suffice to say his Mrs is back in an ICE car now. An A class Merc I think.

I’m sure with meticulous planning you can get an EV to work. They wouldn’t work for me, that’s for sure. My life routine is all over the shop.

  7. Inadvisable. It blocks the filter, apparently. You’d basically give your vehicle bladder stones

  8. Years ago I put adblue directly into the fuel tank, not advisable, I got about 200 yards before the car abruptly stopped. The insurance company wouldn’t pay for the repairs as it was classed as mis fuelling, I argued that adblue is not a fuel and they paid up…
