This is always such a terribly controversial subject. I cannot think of a better phrase than downright blatant thieving when it comes to main dealers. I have a Mercedes CLS; a BMW 850; an Audi Q3 Hybrid and now a Ducati. I have just paid £1,559 for the Ducati to have a thorough health check and service, to be honest, even though most of that was labour at £108 ph inclusive of Vat, I feel it is fair. I have been charged for 9hrs labour but it would take me a few days to do what they have done and i am chuffed to bits. As soon as a vehicle is out of warranty I do the basics myself (except that Ive never owned a Ducati before so have yet to build some confidence). With all my cars I do what needs to be done regularly and document it and attach all invoices to prove genuine parts were used. I absolutely despise all of the car dealers I have mentioned because they have shown themselves to be dishonest and deceitful over a long period of time. I could list dozens of examples but not the right place to do it. My advice once warranty is expired (which I picked up from a reputable Independent) is to do what you can every year using genuine parts. If you cannot deal with an issue then go to the dealership or a trustworthy independent and get it sorted immediately. One of the biggest problems with cars these days is that most problems are only resolved with software updates and it is only the main dealers that have the latest. Apparently the Independents are only entitled to access the latest software 6 months later. Ride safely guys and remember that the quality of the coffee and biscuits will be much nice at the main dealer

Having been on Ducati.ms they seem to use Ducati Omaha for parts diagrams. Steine Dinse have them as well

I get it’s handy to look at the parts diagrams, but try your dealer direct for parts. I’ve had three calls today after the online site has gone bust. I had all but one part in stock. One guy has been waiting 6 weeks for a hand guard which I have sat on a shelf.
Yes note to self.... get the part numbers reqd from the diagrams and ring the dealership... To be fair nearly all the recent aftermarket upgrades recently purchased are UK made or designed from Evotech, R&G, Oberon...
They were my local dealer. I bought the bike from Kevin, who was absolutely brilliant. I chose to go to W. H. Snell in Alton for my servicing.

Yeah, I just found the bike-parts-Ducati site easier to look up part numbers than the Ducati Omaha one which is like a big pdf document you turn pages in. Still, beggars can’t be choosers.
I've used StarTwin for years, just to get the part numbers though as the shipping costs and import duty from the Netherlands adds too much £££.
