After I left both AGM batteries just sitting there for months, when I finally put them on the Noco Genius 2, they both read fail, something like internal short. I bought new ones. A fortnight ago I bought a Genius 2X2, so I could put them both on trickle charge together over winter, which I did about a week and a half ago. Checked them today, expecting to see internal short failures, but greeted with 2 solid green LEDs. Maybe I should buy that third bike so as I can use the other charger?
Having had my Ducati for less than two days and having only played with it, I am also thinking that it is the only bike I want so am encouraged to maybe move the other one on.
Wow, you are clearly a proper enthusiast and I'd love to know what else you have? You clearly don't have a wife
Haha. It's a right old rogues' gallery. Gas Gas Pampera 250 Yamaha DT175 MX Yamaha DT125 Ducati Monster S4R custom (amongst other mods, fitted with a CF 916 tank, Panigale subframe and Panigale CF seat unit, but currently dismantled). Ducati 900SSie custom/bobber Suzuki Bandit 1200 custom/track bike (GSXR1000 forks, wheels, brakes, swingarm, shock and a cafe racer seat). I think that's it.....
I've gotten so pissed off with my wife today (she's been working from home recently) that I'm tempted to buy a couple more and see if that ratio is accurate and is also the tipping point...
That's a bummer - hope there's no big damage (Ducati mirror bolts are designed to fail to reduce chances of fairing damage)
When it happened I was heart broken and deflated but discovered that the assembly was quite flexible. The spring obviously detached but remained unbroken. There is some cracking to the mount bracket but it appears to be holding and I made myself a spring puller. It looks Ok but I know there is now a potential weakness. One lives and learns, I was being so careful but still overlooked the proximities of the mirrors, I will not make that mistake again.
