I get it. But any service we buy could increase their price and then give the money to charity or their drug dealer, Ducati garage, estate agent etc the principle that if you want the ticket you will pay. All people who have given away (or spent) money have got it from someone else afterall... In the case of charitable donations, by separating the cost from the ticket per se, they can increase the price less, and still give their chosen amount to the cause, as there is no taxes to pay -so they've done you a favor! LOL Enjoy the concert though.
I went to the doctor for an internal and he said, "lay on your side, bring your knees up and relax" he lubed up, came back and said "Ok Peter, try not to get a hard on" I said "my name is Graham" he said " yes, I'm Peter". I fainted.
Got tickets to see the Aussie Pink Floyd in November’26! Thanks for the heads up @El Toro Apologies @Jez900ie.
I will accept that VW may not be the best German make. With the hate that I get from the DVLA Medical Group and the expectation of being banned any day, I do not know if I will ever bother buy another car. It's a lot of hassle. But if I ever get in the market again, and a good used Merc or BMW came up, I would test drive it in order to form an opinion. I walk past Berkeley Garage most days and that is where my Ford gets MoTed and serviced, but they always have BMWs in the queue for work to be done. More than I would expect. I don't know if that work is just routine MoT and servicing, like I get, or worse, but they do seem to get in more than you would expect. I don't know why this is and it could be just that they re very good at BMWs!
Hahahaha! I'm glad you're going. Buy a t.shirt too. What date are you going? Let me know and I'll watch the Pulse vid that night on the projector with full dolby surround sound. I've already got a DarkSide t.shirt, so I'll be OK. LOL
Friday November 13th at the Apollo Manchester. It’s gone crazy if you want to spend more cash on a ticket you can get the ‘Echoes experience’ there’s a Q&A afterwards you get keepsake lanyard and a cuddly toy! And it’s an all seated gig! The face of corporate face Rock & Roll eh. I am quite looking forward to it though!
No idea really though the term "echos" is used in some gaming software when it refers to optional headsets/ earphones. Sometimes its an ""immersive experience" at the theatre too. I expect it comes with some soya (its not really) milk...
I’m going with ‘immersive experience’ on this one. Sounds like the kind of thing a pink Floyd tribute band would do.
I hope not. Mixing him & Pink Floyd would be sacrilege. Rather like a 916 with a Harley engine, Mother Theresa as a pole dancer or a Stratos with a 1.1 diesel...
you know what a contorted cryptic I am by now Jez https://www.google.com/gasearch?q=A...ate=ive&vld=cid:4ba63bad,vid:Kl-zxCAkt9A,st:0
I am in Bath right now and its Christmas Day! Oh, hang on, its only the 4th! Who would know? The Point is.... I have forgotten... but it was good and relevant. HONESTLY!
After finishing the painting in the spare bedroom I needed a bike fix so, although it was spitting with rain when I left rode to CTL motor company in Cirencester. They have some nice old bikes for sale. Didn’t take any photos, had a ham, Brie and cranberry toastie and a brew. Lots of muddy roads around the cotswolds but needed to get out the house. Bike is filthy so that’s a job for tomorrow
Still haven’t ridden the Beta I buyed on Monday because (a) busy, (b) it hasn’t stopped fucking bucketing it down and I don’t fancy chancing my arm (or the rest of my body and/or the bike) riding an unfamiliar machine with twice as much power, which is shod with cheap Chinese knobblies, for the first time on freezing cold and soaking wet tarmac. So, I just go outside every couple of hours and sit on it, making “ring-ding-ding-ding” noises. I’m determined to have a play on it at the weekend and will trailer it to the bloody lanes if necessary
