Just back from ultrasound scan. Gel all over the shop. Most disappointing. Two ladies present and I didn't have to get my tackle out.
Dropped the car off at my spray shop. It’ll be 400 quids worth. Not to mention the grinding of teeth.
Hope all went well if it happened today. As others have said, physio is the key. I don't want to give any false hope here, but my experience is that in these circumstances, the NHS tends to underpromise and consequently sometimes overdelivers; a tactic to keep the lawyers at bay if perfect movement isn't restored as I understand it.
Spent the morning awaiting a phonecall from the hospital, to call me in for my op, I was told if I've not heard anything by 1pm, to call them, they called me at 13:15 to tell me it has been postponed until Monday
Very annoying. That happens a lot. My son experienced it twice each time he needed ops to pin his broken thumb and then again a year later to plate his broken wrist and it happened to my dog sitter when she needed surgery to fix her broken and dislocated finger. Incredibly, they never rescheduled it and basically just fobbed her off over the phone, telling her "Ah, it will probably be ok in the end".
Went out for an hour on the lanes. Realised that after fitting the hand guards last night, the levers are now too high but in order to move them down I will need to completely rethink how the hand guards are attached. Curses!
