I was toying with the idea of changing the tank on mine - there’s a Company that make a slimmer tank just down the road from me (maybe Rade Garage - something like that) and I went there last year and sat on a bike with that tank. The 2025 tank feels the same as their aftermarket tank and they told me they weren’t going to bother making one for the 2025 as Ducati have fixed the problem. When I sat on the 2025 the dealer had the same V4R as I have right next to it, so I was able to jump back and forth between the two. I was astonished at how different they felt just sitting on them and moving the back side to side. I didn’t realise that bikes of about the same weight could feel so very different when not even moving. Quite surprising. I know people have moaned about the swingarm and styling but I’ve liked the look of this from the moment I first saw it. Who am I kidding with this Fireblade talk… I think I’ll be getting a V4S.
I was shocked. Just tipping it up from the side stand to vertical you can feel the difference. I do not know anyone who has ridden one that isn't full of praise. There isn't a lot not to like (aside from the melting rear brake lines!) V4S all the way!!
