If it goes to points, AJ needs to leave quietly through the back door. Both physically on the night and figuratively from boxing. IMO only a quick knock out is acceptable. JP is a novice, giving away inches in reach and height and a lot of weight. It should be an absolute no-contest.
It pretty much is to me TBH, but perhaps that’s a I’m too old too like the ‘modern’ way of boxing and so I shouldn’t really be that interested in the outcome.
If that proves to be true, (and someone sooner or later would leak the info) boxing, AJ & anyone who doesn't sign a contract to NEVER agree to an anti KO clause needs to be banned from the ring and compelled to dress as Jake Paul for the rest of their lives. Yep. By rights, JP should leave on a stretcher (look at what AJ did to Ngannou, who was much bigger and a professional fighter), but I don’t think he will. It’ll be a glorified light sparring session
For all his bluster and self promotion JP is not stupid so he must think he can at least hold his own. He got a crack coaching team, a decent defence, fast hands and a little power. He's also short which AJ might have trouble with - see Ruiz. AJ wasn't exactly sparkling in his last bout and as JP has said AJ is in a lose lose situation.
Ngannou went down cus he thought he'd be clever and went southpaw and AJ caught him with a classic straight right....
AJ needs to keep coming forward and put Jake on the canvas with a classic, not classic or hybrid (left or right) as he prefers. Otherwise he has to get a secluded beachfront apartment and enjoy retirement out of earshot from the laughing. Not a bad way to finish for sure. Plus it would be his own fault (choice?) as he put himself in this position.

Boxing has been on the decline for years ,and this just shows it’s not about any kind of sport anymore , it’s just a glamorised circus act. The fame, money and greed have finally won.
Total cash spinning mismatch for sure but that last right hand!!! I wouldn’t have fancied copping that… As for Jake Paul and all the wankery that comes with him, he’s pretty tough for sure… That fight was like a human form of bear baiting (not pretty and uncomfortable to watch)… Can’t really blame Joshua for this circus.
