finished second series of Silo, but it was a struggle. It appears Mr average must like it, as have been granted two more series but the fourth will be the finale (and I'm not surprised). massive CGI content, and I wouldn't recommend to people with failing eyesight, as it's dark and gloomy throughout, and I'm only talking about the visuals! I was interested in the (science-fiction) concept, and wondering where it would lead is what kept me coming back, but that's the same for everyone of course. unconvincing at times, and massive holes in the plot, but for me it was good enough to ignore most of these. If you don't know anything about it, and you actually enjoy revisiting nightmares, then this is the one for you. For me, the lead actress, almost entirely alone, kept the whole thing together, it would've been dead in the water (NPI) without her.
..on topic - do you remember the fairly recent series following people dating? There was one chap who had me in fits, bless him. ("she's a squirter! she's a squirter!)
There's a scene in the film where the main character is alone in a car with a girl with same condition.
Watching Youtubes on the Bike Shed in that dirty old London, also DGR rides out in Guildford High street with some great machines lined up.
am half way through "Mr Mercedes" S3 and F*** me, Star Trek Voyager with Kate Mulgrew will never be the same again. Black Humour is an understatement, and she reminds me a bit of William Shatner's fully licensed approach to acting.
Bugonia - excellent. I couldn't believe it was Jesse Plemons as he looks so different/lost some weight.
A bit behind the curvature on this one, just watched 'Tolkien'. Very enjoyable, sadly no mention of his life long friendship with C.S. Lewis during the film, which is a huge omission IMHO.
Many Youtubes yesterday but one in particular was the 900ss / 1991 model going round the Nurgburgring at 8.36 minutes, not bad for an old banger that some say it has no power.
Fackham Hall - tres funny. I used to live near the small hamlet of Fackham in Berkshire, not too far from Reading. It did boast a small village hall that was popular in the area for wedding receptions, jumble sales, metal detector club meetings etc. It was a run down little place, typical village hall that contained an out of tune piano and smelt of damp old ladies. The appeal of course was printing the address of the event on the invitations.
so Pluribus Season one over now, some bits excellent. It occurred to me that this could continue on in a similar way that "Lost" did a few years back.
