Not quite sure what to say, https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/39746591...Wr8LWderSCIgAbm2PIbU71c4gY|tkp:Bk9SR7C4vabyZg. Andy
Yep, it's got some nice bits on it, but who know what it will go for at the auction in Feb, a lot more than the £500 I'd guess. Some of it is a complete bodge, like the fitting of the SS footrests and hangers.
The advert is very misleading. I read it as it was a classified ad, and £500 would buy it. I Presumed the company knew what a Frankenstein's child they had and just wanted to offload their 1973 Dicati Monster (sic). Turns out it is for sale by auction and the £500 is a come and get me price. I won't be bothering!
I wonder if the year of registration is a typo, or if some dodgy logbook shenanigans has gone on, because there was simply no ducati trellis like that available in 1973, and no belt driven cams. (using the Sherlock Holmes approach, I have excluded the other option that they transported it back using a time machine as Prof. Hawking pretty much demonstrated that that was impossible)
Sloppy listing then. Looking through their other items, that’s not the only error, they are listing a Rotax engined Buell as a diesel Andy
It also says it has passed a vehicle inspection check with no issues, including not having had a colour change.
