Sat in the dentist's chair for 45 minutes whilst he removed an old filling from a broken tooth and then reconstructed the tooth with a modern composite, built up in layers with a bonding medium between each layer. Just got to wait and see if it lasts or I have to have a crown. Replacing the second of 2 cracked fillings and replacing a botched filling by a previous dentist, to go in a fortnight. Andy
Dentist for me too. Never had a filling in 52 years , and only ever had one tooth out 22 years ago . Bit of tooth ache the other day turns out a molar had cracked. The dentist didn't really want to pull it out as it was a good healthy tooth until the crack . What a horrendous experience having 95% of a strong healthy tooth removed . I swear he was almost standing on my chest with the pliers in place pulling for all his worth. I feel awful now fours hours later , had a small yoghurt and half a glass of water . Fingers crossed for a few hours sleep tonight.
I feel for you. Had to have a perfectly sound tooth removed many years ago because it was being pushed out through the roof of my mouth. On a lighter note, I’ve got fillings older than you Andy
I once had a molar removed. Needed the nurse to hold my head while I held my jaw with the dentist pushing down om my chest. What a palaver
Do it yourselves, ya big Jessies! https://www.ducatiforum.co.uk/threads/so-what-have-you-done-today.494/page-4709#post-2248613
