I saw a video on YouTube tonight with commentary on an updated Diavel fV4Sor 2026. I don’t know how accurate it is but it looked plausible. If it’s true I will be interested if it comes to pass - at least until I see the price! I am probably late to the party on this but thought I would post it any way.
Pani-gal-age, wtf ? There was a 1260S so I don’t see a reason why they wouldn’t go ‘S’ for the V4. It certainly deserves better suspension. Andy
Welcome to AI*. It's getting too good. This is your warning! Whether the detail has some basis of truth is a different matter, but the video is a pointless waste of your (and my) time. *Just look at the overview page - all the same layout: https://www.youtube.com/@MotoFreakYT/videos
I agree AI is getting very good, I was not 100% hence my comment about accuracy. I think I need to up my game and check the source before doing anything in future! If AI is capable of doing this now what will it be like in 6-12 months?! Last night I asked ChatGBT for torque settings for monster wheels, it suggested using thread lock on the retaining nuts. I replied telling it was wrong - it apologised and corrected its advice to use the correct grade of grease. It was interesting how it gave incorrect info in the first instance but when challenged gave the correct answer - very quickly. I wonder how many people are being given incorrect info!
> I wonder how many people are being given incorrect info! At the moment - a lot. The trouble is well known - GIGO aka Garbage in, garbage out. Or, more accurately, SISO. I use AI professionally - but not a lot, admittedly. To make constructive use of it you need good solid knowledge of the area you're investigating (as you did), otherwise you won't recognise its 'hallucinations'. And of course it apologises. Very human. AI is genuinely useful in limited cases. It's also genuinely misleading in many others, because it's so plausible. It will get 'better' at both those scenarios, which is somewhat unnerving. And IMHO, that's why mainstream media will make a comeback - because they can claim to be trustworthy sources. Do you trust YouTube or the Times, ChatGPT or the Guardian, Truth Social or the BBC? Oh hang on, that last one is too easy.
?Good points you make. Trust - less and less with each day! It is not even a case of believing your own eyes anymore! I think all media is biased so reading a variety of sources helps a little but it is all getting rather too dystopian for my liking.
