  2. At least you don't have to get up to go to work in the morning. Enjoy.

I am enjoying my semi-retirement, 3 days a week working, but I suspect that arrangement will turn to full retirement come the end of March.

    I won't be heartbroken. It's been a good run.

  3. I just had to share this. My mate, who can ride an off-road bike better than anyone I know, managed to launch himself into a hedge yesterday :D
I couldn't get my phone out quickly enough when he was still on it, especially as I was pissing myself laughing.
Hey-ho, another good day out on/off road on the Shercos south of Bath...

  4. Let me be the first to say “You can’t park there mate!”

I’m thinking he hit the big rock in the middle of the lane too hard with too much weight over the rear wheel then compounded it with a handful of whisky throttle which launched him into the shrubbery?

  5. Exactly that! I was very quick to say he couldn't park there!!
Took us ages to get it out, as a lot of carefully-laid branches had been introduced to the spokes:p

  6. Was he still attached to the bike when it went into the hedge or had he already hopped off?

  7. He was still attached! It just looked ridiculous before he managed to get off  He's not tall either so it really was a side-splitter once I'd realised he wasn't hurt

  8. Another thing - I used my Beeline Moto to navigate on & off road. Bloody brilliant - straight export from an OSMaps route to Beeline. Worked a treat.

  16. Thanks. Unfortunately the only gig they have listed anywhere near me is on a day when I'm travelling to South Wales for a golf trip; who knew that Hastings has its own Mardi Gras festival?

  17. Can’t see them listed at the Mardi Gras in Hastings, although that sounds like a good few days. Maybe next year.

  18. A rare beast indeed!

  19. 2.8 million apparently.

  20. Having moved to a new house last April I had the garden done at the back of the house, lawn laid, borders filled with nice plants and bushes etc and it looked lovely last summer.

Two puppies later and the fuckers have completely trashed the garden. Not only is the grass fucked but they've dug up the borders, ripped up and eaten the plants and bushes and made a complete mess of the back. An old mattress, sofa and knackered fridge strewn on the back wouldn't look out of place now after those twatty lumps of fur have fucked it over. Added to which whenever they go out to do their business and come back in they traipse mud everyfuckingwhere. Thank god I have LVT flooring down in the utility, kitchen and family area that cleans easily.

So I've now had an artificial grass company come out to price and lay a new artificial lawn asap. Hopefully they can lay it in the next few weeks cos I'm fed up of the mess these furry arseholes are making.
