Fair enough, though do we really think these tabloid press earnings are accurate or just estimates? Seems that shouting at the boys in Madrid is really quite a good little number (£30m!) especially when you factor in sun, food, better roads, strumming guitars and afternoon siestas...

Was actually speaking to the barber about the whole Saudi/Gerrard thing today, has anyone actually seen a game of saudi footy? I couldnt even tell you who broadcasts it. SG8 certainly sullied his name on merseyside the day he went there (and scummy Rangers ). Not the only one to take the saudi dough for very little return in their respective sports though, *cough* LIV golfers, moto gp, f1, boxing etc...

I’m loving the buzz they bring. I’ve bumped into a few Scottish fans at past tournaments and they were some of the friendliest people around. Hoping they keep that energy going.
Like I told the Scot who was a manager at one place I worked, I was born in London but my dad brought me up to support Scotland. But then I decided to support someone with a chance of winning. But I gave up on England long, long ago. I supported Italy when it was like supporting the Chelsea international team. Now I'm so disillusioned with British football I'd rather stick a cactus up my arse. Supporting football today is like cheering pieces on the Monopoly board.
Shame they’re not withdrawing altogether. Cant think of many other war mongers that host a World Cup. And why would any sane person want to step foot over there right now!
If we’re playing fair surely they should be banned from all sporting events (including the upcoming Winter Olympics) like Russia have been. Whats good for the goose and all that.
