I now have UK stock of the reg/recs manufactured in the Netherlands by Ultimate Rectifier. I have the two types that will work with pretty much all Ducati. 2 & 3 phase and the later type with direct connectors as per MTS 1260 for instance. All the ones I have are of the "Series" design, whereby rather than shunting excess energy to the heat sink, they open circuit reducing load on the generator and also reducing the heat in the cables. Most importantly, from my point of view, I now feel I have a product to offer that will enable owners of the older generation bikes to safely move over to Lithium battery technology. Both types are £145 inc. VAT This is from the supplier information..... They all come with a 3 Year warranty. Key Features & Benefits 1. Stable Output Voltage Protects sensitive electronics like ECUs, LED lights, and sensors from voltage spikes and drops. 2. High Efficiency Draws only the power you need. Less heat loss. Longer lifespan for your stator and regulator. 3. Reduced Stator Load Traditional regulators force the stator to run at full output. Our series regulators reduce stator strain, keeping it cooler and healthier for longer. 4. Optimized Battery Charging Accurate, consistent output voltage ensures your battery is never undercharged or overcharged—extending battery life. 5. Compatible with All 12V Battery Types Works with FLA, GEL, AGM, Lithium-Ion, and LFP batteries. Precise voltage control (14.2V max, 14.4V absolute ceiling) protects modern batteries. 6. Cool, Reliable Operation Generates minimal heat, lowering the risk of overheating and improving long-term performance—even in extreme riding conditions. 7. Heat-Resistant Silicone Wiring Equipped with premium silicone wires rated up to 200°C, minimizing the risk of melted connectors and wires which are a common electrical failures.
Makes you wonder why it’s not an o/e standard design/fitment. Different brand of bike but mates 1290R Kaboom(KTM) is in its second stator
Did wonder about this, when fitting the Evotech tail tidy to the Multi, the rectifier is tucked under the plastic undertray with little or no airflow and I know they get warm.. Is the UR one a simple swap over for the original.?
UR are my go to for replacement r/rs they’re good bits of kit. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for and highly recommended.
I'll be booking in soon to get the sprag clutch replaced on my 1098 Streetfighter and have a lithium conversion with a Skyrich battery. I assume there's a reg/rec mosfet for the SF? UR only list them for the 1098 SB. No mention of the SF. I hoping they're both the same.
