I’ve not seen that, or any advert for a long time, as we have a rule at home that we always record programs on channels with adverts, so we can forward through them.
Everyone hates that email saying “you have been invited to a compulsory training session” lol. Was actually part of my old job and it’s a very fine balance keeping people interested. I had to onboard 1500 worldwide law firms to a new Saas solution and my audience went from young kids who had questions that often stumped me to geriatric partners who could barely remember their own bank pin. Loved every minute of it bizarrely.
I often enjoyed mine looking back, it was about the only time interdepartmental lighthearted laughter and discussion could be created, and i very nearly scored a new girlfriend at one of them. Ultimately she was way out of my class and my low-grade attempts to "get into her department" probably gave me away.
I've been following this thread and have come to the conclusion I have a very simple answer. Other People.
I love it when I get asked in a Cafe etc if I have any allergies or intolerances. I often reply whilst smiling that I'm extremely intolerant of Other People, and get some funny looks.
What I find amusing is that we have such an exceptional group of people here on this forum...people who definitely don't do any of the trivial and annoying things listed. Truly we are the chosen folk.
Do you mean there are other sorts of politicians to vote for; I thought crap was the only choice, it’s just the level that varies?
There's only two things I hate in this world: people who are intolerant of other people's cultures, and the Dutch.
