Necked some codeine to take the pain away from a torn meniscus then did a gentle 4 mile walk south down the River Tees from Barnard Castle to Egglestone Abbey
I meet up with @Roadtrip Paul this morning, what a lovely bloke and both singing from the same hymn sheet. @Chris You're next on my hit list.!
Did the brakes on my van this morning, I absolutely love working on bikes but Christ I hate working on cars, they are torture. Wife’s buggered off for the weekend so I’m going to be boozing all afternoon
Sitting in Virginia waiting for the big snow and ice storm to blow through the US, fingers crossed we keep power. No fun being away from home and having all your amenities taken away from you too.
unfortunately that sounds like a r56 model turbo engine. And pre 2012 probably the most fragile of all the new mini variants so def buy with serious caution
Just for general elucidation: Now £11.19. Not really surprised given the rate everything else has gone up the last 6 months. Warm white is the only 100w (13) bayonet type. £7-something singly.
Good to meet you also Peter not sure Mrs Roadtrip would agree on the lovely bloke bit, she did at first but 40years later Agree as we mentioned be good to meet @Chris
First ride of the year on the XSR, nice 4 hour trip around Kent and Sussex. Been in storage since October and I'd forgotten what a naughty side is has. Got home and although we've had enough rain to clear the salt off the roads, it still got a decent bath to remove anything that could do harm.
On account of all the pairs of boots and trainers I've got now, and the limited storage in a flat, I ordered a shoe rack: You can see what influenced me to go with this one! That's right: enough height for 8-hole Dr. Martens. Now I feel unaccountably hungry and I really must sink my teeth into something!
I hope so - i know it will never happen but a Forum Meet would be a laugh one day maybe - closest we've ever come to this is the Super Sausage Meet on the A5 where there must have been over 20 Forum members at one time over the years.
