  1. You won't get any knowledge and wisdom from that, but only good to go until the next time.

  2. I could say the same about that book, but I won't!

  5. Careful. You'll get your collar felt for reading that.

  6. Yes - one is surrounded by cancellers and book burners....:eyes:
I just don't care, I'm going to raise the colours, adorn my bowler hat and play some Elgar as loud as I can!
They don't like it up 'em...:D

  9. I don't often read biographies/autobiographies. However, quite enjoying this that a mate has lent me.

  10. Defiance Til Death, Robery L Arnold
An American poet and writer, really digs into the history and current woes of American society, illuminating and moving.

  12. As much as I like Bobs comedic repartee
I made the mistake of reading this first followed by his novel The Satsuma Complex
the plot of which is ruined by all the ‘facts’ used in his autobiography.

  13. I'm 1/2 way through this at the moment and really enjoying it:

  14. Having finished his autobiography, I wouldn't rush to buy/read another of his books.

  17. I'm almost sorry for that Bezos chap, he just paid out £70 million for a film for that Yugo bird. Now he fronting a book for her too. She's certainly changed a bit over the years.

  19. This book portrays Melania as a manananggal (look it up). Bezos is not subsidising it.

  20. Two more to be getting on with.
Glorious beginnings to the miserable and pitiful end.
