I'm reading 'The Psychology of Interrogations and Confessions' (from a little over 20 years ago), that frequently refers to the US Miranda rights and ours of Silence.
I'd so wanted that to be true. Otherwise I was going to say that nonetheless if you don't actually look which end you're opening, the point stands, even if it means that for some psychological reason we unconsciously open the end with the expiry date. Compound that with, in my case I open the end that's easiest, but more often than not try both ends then, finding both ends to be bastards, lose my rag and tear one open, which you might suppose would be the 2nd one I tried. I'm probably in a pedantic mood myself. It's possible that the prescription box it didn't apply to I'd previously opened and took everything out, then put it all back in the other way round and, therefore, the only ones that it definitely didn't apply to were the over the counter stuff - which wasn't taped down. Which could then mean that some bugger likes to swap them about for a laugh, wandering around Sainsbury's for example. But if it only applies to prescription stuff, the box pictured is over the counter anyway. I could take all my meds at once, so's I can order some more for testing purposes.
