A rare commodity, they don't come up often. You could speak to @Sam1199, he makes his own version and I believe still offers this as a service. BTW, the later Ducati comfort seats from the true 1260 era aren't as good as the ones they previously had made by Touratech for the 2015 > 1200 DVT. These fit the 1260 as the seat-pan is the same.
Thanks Bumpkin. Appreciate they are rather rare, but have come up for sale on here in the past when I've searched. Was in contact towards the end of last year with Sam regarding the excellent looking seat he had made and was making progress but its gone cold unless anyone has heard from him recently. So looking at options and hoping someone's got one they want to shift. Have some miles to cover this coming year.

I bought a 2nd hand one a few years ago, 1st ride of 200 miles my arse was in that much discomfort and pain I sold it straight away. My suggestion would be to go for upholstery of you OEM seat
Strangely, the first ride is never very impressive ! Each subsequent ride, the comfort gets better and better, or, at least that was the way it panned out for me.
I've a collection of seats, OEM, custom one done through Sam on here and the Touratech one. As it stands, the seat from Sam has had my arse in it the longest by far. However, I've yet to put the Touratech through it's paces but it's equally, if not, more comfortable for me. I like the flat, wide nature of it.
I've noticed that on various bikes I've owned. After the first full day ride I'm thinking hmm, I'll have to do something about that seat. A couple of months later I've forgotten all about it. But only when it comes to upholstery. If the riding position is wrong I can't adapt to that. Had that issue with the deeply scalloped stock seat on my 1260 Diavel. It was just too low. Uncomfortable on my lower back and I didn't feel engaged with the bike and in control - more like a passenger. Fitted the comfort seat which fills out the scalloping and lifts you up 40 mm and it was an utterly different bike.
This is an option. I have one on my 1260, and a couple of my riding mates have also fitted a Cool Cover. It adds a degree of comfort and has the advantage of keeping your backside cooler in hot weather, and dryer in wet weather. Regarding the seat shape/position, I found the OE seat pushed me forward all the time which was uncomfortable and added stresses to my arms and back, not to mention my crown jewels. I solved that by fitting the front bar of the seat raising kit and cut off the rear raising lugs of the side strips, thus raising the front and lowering the rear. I bought a comfort seat from @rotaxracer several years ago. it is very much firmer that the original and a great improvement.
I think the main advantage is it tips you back a little and is more dished, stops you riding with your plums getting crushed!
I agree, it's firm but offers far better support than the OEM seat that had my arse sore by the first fuel stop. On subsequent mornings of that first trip getting onto the bike made me wince... The Touratech/Ducati Performance Comfort Seat was night and day different; even an end of tour 450 mile, mainly motorway, day at the end of a Scotland trip (had to rush home for an ill dog) wasn't too bad, a little smarty for the last 50 miles. On normal days of touring with mixed roads and the luxury of lunch stops it's absolutely fine with no discomfort either at the end of the day or at the end of the trip. The added bonus, as @Twin4me alludes to, that the seat is flatter and grippier giving the added benefit of preventing one's plumbs smacking the tank. I think that there's a misconception that the comfort seat is going to be plush and squishy. Buyers expecting this recoil somewhat as an initial impression, as you say it's quite firm. It's the shape and this supportive firmness that sets it apart and makes it comfortable. It was designed and made by Touratech and they know a bit about this sort of stuff.
Good point. I've had various comfort seats on various bikes of different brands and none of them were softer or plusher than stock. They were better sculpted and more supportive and on most cases improved the riding position (at least for me). Stock seats, like stock suspension settings, are designed to be acceptable to the widest range of riders to get bikes sold and they are produced to a price.
Reading this thread is interesting because I have sat in my Garage a Ducati Performance 'Comfort seat' for my 1260 Enduro. I wasn't looking for one desperately, but it popped up on Ebay just after Xmas at a low starting bid and I thought when is another one going to come up seeing as the Enduro seat is unique. I put a sub £80 max bid on it, and to my surprise won the auction despite 2 other people bidding on it. I bet there are not many of them about for the Enduro, and it's in near perfect condition. Strangely, I've only found the standard seat uncomfortable just a few times, most of the time I don't notice it, but on a few occasions I've felt generally uncomfortable and like I'm trying to stop myself sliding forward on a forward sloping seat. It doesn't appear to relate to distance or time, but I've a feeling it's more related to exactly what I'd been doing in the gym that week. I've not used the bike since it arrived, but am planning on fitting it before I use it next.
The Touratech seat is the one to get if you see one, don't think there did one for the Enduro. I remember sitting on an Enduro and the standard seat was so much nicer than the normal Multistrada seat.
If you have no luck, my 1200 Multi seat is presently being reworked with fancy foam. They will reuse the existing cover so will look standard. I am happy to provide feedback once I get it back. Cost is £150 to have it done. Place has really good reviews so hopeful it will make a decent difference.
If that's actually available, I note that that page says "Available to Backorder", then that's a bargain.
I only paid £200 for a comfort seat for my 1260 Diavel from Ducati Manchester, and they sent it practically by return of post. I guess demand is low and therefore so is supply - if Ducati are still producing them at all, as both the 1260 Diavel and Multistrada are discontinued. I reckon they had one sitting on the shelf for ages, possibly a cancelled order, and just wanted it shifted. I think I was very lucky to find it.
