Blocking high pressure over Scandinavia means fronts from the west are going round in circles over the UK. Until that moves weather can’t change.
Weather’s been mega shite too for a few weeks now, down here in France… Let’s focus on how beautiful spring might be, with all things so well watered!
How to tell its February? Answer "yes" to six or more of the following: Lots of water -raining or frozen. Often windy as hell. Short days. Damn cold. You have to wear a coat. Heating bill is large. People are miserable. No bikes out on the roads If you answered "yes" to all the above every day for a week, its January. Only four "yes" answers means March or maybe April. Less than three means its not going to be February for a while.
Yeah, down in the South too...I can't remember it ever doing it so much...I just hope it is all falling as snow on the piste!!
Grabbed a “dryish” window to get from London to Petworth, but still got wet on the outer layer. Could be worse, could be dodging the salt
Good news! Virtually no salt or grit or leaves on roads, since they have all been washed away by the torrents. More good news! No fog, since it is blown away by the gales. No ice or snow. So count your blessings.
Your optimism is required in the "Trivial Things People Do That Make You Disproportionately Cross" thread!
