V4 Akrapovic End Can

  1. Hi everyone,

    I’ve just traded in my Hypermotard that I’ve owned for 6 years and my 950S Multistrada for a 2025 V4S Multistrada with the touring pack fitted. I’ve got enough left over to purchase the Akrapovic End Can. I’m watching a few on eBay but I want to make sure that I’m buying the right one. I’ve never owned a V4 before so are they all a standard fit? I’m only buying the end can and not any down pipes. There are a few on there but they all have different serial numbers. I’m not sure if it’s a part number, or a serial specific to that individual exhaust.

  4. I'm pretty sure that is for the newer ones, like yours, the older, pre 24 (I think) have a carbon end cap (my 22 does), and don't have titanium written on. If it still has a cat you must get one with a single, fixed inlet pipe, full system have 2 inlets on the can

  5. FYI , the bike wont perform any better or even sound different to the standard end can, Its only when you go for the full system that things improve. The akra end can is just for looks

  7. Oh yeah I know that. I just like the look of it and don’t have the spare cash to get the full system fitted

  8. Based on your explanation and the photos I’ve seen, I think I’d need the BA system then rather than the DA

  9. I’d say it makes the bike sound a bit deeper but no performance difference (not that you need it)

  10. Be aware the 25 plate face lift model has a new part number . Pre 25 exhausts wont fit as the pipe conection bore is different . I know this as bought one from a pre 25 bike and it did not fit. You will need the 25 reg one.

  12. Does anyone know what the silver part is shown in the photo? I assume it’s an additional part that’s used as an exhaust protector and attaches onto the rear rhs pillion foot peg? I’ve searched the part number that’s printed on it but can’t find it. It doesn’t appear in the spare parts catalogue either.

  15. Standard vs Akrapovic comparison here.
    It's just the end can - not full system comparison.

    Pretty similar - but slight change in tone.
    I have the akra - came as standard with the V4S "Full" version I bought.

  16. Interestingly - the change was far more noticeable on my V2S when I swapped OEM for Akra "shotgun" exhaust:
