Astrid: Murder in Paris S5 is now showing on Ch 4, commencing end of January. One of my absolute favourites.
Done the first episode - intriguing. Never realised that swindling game shows was such a big industry. I live a very sheltered life!
Finished watching The Shooting Wives last night. Was a good series, ruined by the last 15 minutes, as the ending was ridiculous. Still worth a watch though. Very racy.
i'm watching something called Arctic Circle on Channel 4, based in Lapland, I'm learning a lot, but not how to speak Finnish unfortunately.
Have you tried 'Patience' - UK version of Astrid... Apparently a partnership with the Original Belgian/French outfit. I prefer Astrid/Raphael
Another You Tuber, Mr JWW in great locations etc and Mark Mc'Cann's purchased Bugatti in two halfs, basically more cars.
I tried it when it first appeared, i'm surprised that they got a budget for it - ok, so no subtitles, but there is no comparison sadly. They did the same for that "Female Cleaner Sleuth" Series didn't they? difference is, that the "english speaking" version was pretty good.
Keep calm and slalom is worth watching if you’re enjoying the Winter Olympics. Dave Rocky Ryding Lancastrian dry ski slopes to World Cup winner “aganst all the odds” etc.. 8/10
Finished (npi) Artic Circle S1 - just about watchable - enough to continue to S2. I have a long-term friend from Finland and that's probably the main reason i'm persevering as you get to see how they live. Considering the climate i'm surprised anyone wants to be an actor as some of the footage would have even been impressive for a James Bond movie 50 years ago.
