Hi has anyone managed to get a scanner to work on the 748/996, I have seen a couple of adverts for one but can't find anyone that's actually tried to use one, lol I know the Marelli 16m is quite limiting, was just wondering if anyone had tried one
I’m fairly sure the free software from JPDiag does the trick, you just need to correct interface cables & OBD reader and lonelec.co.uk is, I believe, the most reliable source for those.

Did you say it worked on the 748, just checked the FXTUL web site, the 748 is not listed, the 996 is, not sure if it uses the same ecu, but if it works sounds great
