Bastianini riding a v4 at the Jerez test next week. This is Chantra not Dixon before anyone bothers to give them a click. https://www.crash.net/wsbk/news/108...r-suffers-major-world-superbike-debut-setback
Seems Chantra will be missing from the pre season test and round one at PI (as will Ianone) J Rea to step in? https://www.crash.net/wsbk/news/108...rbike-debut-doubt-after-worse-expected-injury
Sounds like the Jerez test has pretty much been a washout for the last two days. https://www.crash.net/wsbk/results/1088604/1/january-2026-jerez-worldsbk-test-day-2-thursday-results
We had some action towards the end of the day. Jake looks to be settling in well. https://www.crash.net/wsbk/results/1088604/1/january-2026-jerez-worldsbk-test-day-2-thursday-results
Jake within a second of Bulega. Seems like more progress being made. https://www.crash.net/wsbk/results/...ortimao-worldsbk-test-results-day-2-lap-times
What is Tommy Bridewell doing at a WSBK test ? If he is testing the new V4R ahead of the BSB season, I’m certain that’s against the rules. Andy
Wasn't there a rumour of him doing the full BSB season and also the WSBK rounds that dates didn't clash ???
Technically it’s 12 days to go until fp1 at PI but that’s even better i think we can all agree . I asdume we’re all expecting the only challenge to Bulega to come from his team mate but with no real test time of note the first round could be as good as it gets all season. Go eleven go’ing with baldassari and no Ianone at the first round “at least” seems to be the main talking point on the www.
https://www.crash.net/wsbk/news/108...r-preseason-setback-ahead-phillip-island-test On a scale of one to ten, the testing period this season has been absolute dogshit and I would consider switching the far east nonsense to America if I were the organisers. Laguna seca back as an additional round/season opener too please.
This is not the first time there have been delays caused by tyres not reaching the track at Phillip Island in time. Sadly Laguna Seca has the same issues as established tracks in the UK, newcomer nimbies complaining about the noise. Andy
Laguna >>>> COTA but if needs must. it’s a lot easier/cheaper to get to from Europe than Australia/far east and the weather and transport routes are certainly more reliable! Might even get a few more bums on seats with a certain G Gerloff.
Probably on my own on this one, I’m not a fan of COTA and definitely not a fan of Garrett Gerloff. His mother obviously watched too much Hawaii 5 O. Andy
Hillbilly’s. Same as Texas tornado who tnt dropped like a hot potato. And yeh Cota is not my favourite either but it won’t be washed out at this time of year after it’s taken you 2 months to sail there.
He’s not going to be a happy little gremlin https://m.gpone.com/en/2026/02/12/sbk/bautista-even-heavier-8-5-kg-of-ballast-on-his-ducati.html
