  1. Where are you in the healing process now? Another month or...

  2. MRI is booked for Wednesday 25th, at 18:50, next physio session, basically him asking questions, is booked for 5th March, just had my next appointment come through for fracture clinic, to discuss MRI results, for 27th March

I am slowly getting more movement in my elbow, I can now reach to put pills in my mouth (just), still slowly getting there with my shoulder movement, my wrist is the main issue at the moment, very little movement without pain, hence the MRI scan

  3. There definitely seems to be a solid plan for your treatment which is good to see. Sounds like at least a couple more months but you are making progress. Keep up the physio and you will get there I'm sure.

Just before Xmas, I developed some unexplained shoulder problems. No accidents, no falls, no fights in the car park (haha). It became quite painful and was waking me up if i moved the wrong way at night. Saw a physio who gave me some simple exercises to do, which I had zero faith in. It all seemed far too easy, and was over in ten minutes or less per day.

Now five weeks or so later, its not 100%, but I'm well on my way. Now I will be surprised if I don't recover fully.

  4. My physio asked what exercises I had been doing, and he just said to carry on with that, at the last meeting, he suggested that instead of straightening my arm, I do it with my upper arm on a table, and slightly push down on my lower arm

Problem with that is, due to the shoulder issue, I can't get my arm high enough on a table in a comfortable position, so, I am trying it a different way

  6. Had a new Michelin Medium Enduro rear tyre (the OG, not the new compound and block pattern) fitted to the Beta and, after 2 rear punctures in the last 4 rides, caved in and had a mousse installed.

  7. Seems rather an unnecessarily cruel thing to do

  8. Is it true that it's illegal to run mousse in tyres on the road?

  9. I've heard this. Because the tyre's not inflated, it's being used improperly (or something like that) and so it's not suitable for the road (paved or BOAT, etc)... FFS!!!

  10. I hear that the new Medium 2 is no good. I'm currently running the originals and wonder if I would be able to feel any difference. I'm never going to do an Enduro race - only doing dirt lanes, Byways, etc & the roads in between...
