Waking this thread up, I'm after a higher seat for a V4 Pikes Peak 2022. First point - if anyone has a secondhand one I'd love to buy it, please! Failing that, on the ducati.com site I can see three heated higher seats, with no definition as to what is different between them. Does anyone have any ideas? 1. 96880931AA (https://shop.ducati.com/gb/en/rider-heated-raised-seat-multistrada.html) mentioned in the first message 2. 96881151AA (https://shop.ducati.com/gb/en/moto-ducati-rider-heated-raised-seat.html) 3. 96881151AB (https://shop.ducati.com/gb/en/heated-raised-rider-seat.html) Has Ducati just changed the seat cover each year, or is there some other improvement? For example the 96880931AA description mentions more compact foam.
Number 1 and 2 are +15mm, number 3 is +30mm. As far as I can see the only difference between numbers 1 and 2 is the embroidery. Andy
I have the +30mm and it is “firm” but a lot more comfortable than the OE seat. It feels a fraction wider and flatter which provides more support for your bum cheeks. On the OE, I always felt there was a slight curve which tried to pull your bum cheeks apart Andy
