  1. Right. I have owned so many Ducati’s I’ve lost count, from classics to Pani V4s and most bikes in between. I currently own

    NONE

and it’s shit like this that will stop me even considering buying another. I am now so far from the brand it’s laughable.

Stick around on here as I know a fair few of you and I like the general atmosphere. But, honestly….

  2. In the last frames: 'A century made of seconds.'
Would that be referring to first losers, or sub-standard manufacturing output?

  3. Where's the Derelicte range?

  4. That's just sad.

Why buy a ducati when any other two wheels on the road is just as unique as yours...

    Ducati are not ducati anymore.

  5. Car manufacturers have been doing this for years. It’s nothing new.

  6. Corporate skollob. Focus on quality control & better value for money. Not gimmick paint jobs and spiralling ownership costs.

  7. Ooh, we are a grumpy lot :joy:. There’s a touch of perryitis perhaps spreading.

Whilst it may not be for you there are plenty out there who have the disposable income and are prepared to shell out what will be a sizeable uplift in price simply to be different.

Obviously this programme isn’t aimed at everybody but aimed at the few who will buy into it. And why not?

  8. IMHO it’s more about good vs bad taste than money.

  9. I might be reading this incorrectly, but the Yellow option looks like a £200 addition, and the Blue a £400 one.
That is very little compared to the actual cost of the bike, and much less than some spend on Carbon stick on Tat.

I like both, and the additional speed of the Yellow one could be worth the £200.

  10. £1500 for rank Lambo colours
and not sure I could admit to spending that on a blue called Blu Uranus.

  11. I don’t get all the negativity. I’ve always had a hankering for a yellow Multistrada. Now I can have one for £200.

    what’s not to like??

  12. There’s no accounting for people’s tastes, but each to their own.

  13. Imagine if you were told you could have your new car in either just black or white? I just don’t get what the fuss is about?

  14. :upyeah:

  15. I suspect there will be some pretty dreadful choices of paintwork but at the end of the day it’s up to the owner. It’s a trend for car owners to be able to change different panels and colours so it’s understandable.

I have a design background and understand the power of having a strong identity, personally I would put a few limits on which colours and graphics can be combined but live and let live. You only have to look at some of the terrible sticker kits there are out there, let alone the previous fashion for lurid anodised accessories to realise some people have dubious tastes!
